
How To Make Bold Honey-Barbecue Burger
Layers of sweet-tangy sauce, smoky and juicy grilled beef patties, crisp bacon, and onion rings, makes up this easy-to-make burger recipe!

Ingredients
- 1lbground beef
- ½cupgreen onions,chopped
- ½tspgarlic powder
- ½tspcayenne pepper
- 2tbspsteak seasoning
- 4hamburger buns
- 2tbspbutter,melted
- ¾cupbarbecue sauce
- 1tbsphoney
- 8bacon,thick slices, cooked crisp
- 8onion rings,frozen, prepared according to package directions
- 4Borden® American Cheese Singles slices
- 4tomato slices
- fresh lettuce
Instructions

Combine the ground beef, green onions, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper, then form into 4 patties. Sprinkle both sides with steak seasoning.

Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.

Brush the buns with melted butter, set aside. Mix the barbecue sauce with honey in a small bowl, and set aside.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the burgers for about 4 to 6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.

2 minutes before the burgers are finished, grill the buns, butter side down, until golden brown. Place the cheese singles on burgers to melt.

Serve each burger on a buttered bun topped with 2 slices crisp bacon and onion rings, honey barbeque sauce, lettuce and tomato. Enjoy!
