Ingredients

  • 4 lb Ground Beef
  • 30 fl oz Tomatoes, crushed, canned
  • 30 fl oz Kidney Beans, canned, drained and rinsed
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 Onion, minced
  • 4 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp White Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Red Pepper, crushed
  • Olive Oil
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a dab of olive oil in a dutch oven. Add the garlic and onion and saute until onion is translucent.

  2. Add the hamburger to the pot and brown thoroughly.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients except the flour and simmer over medium heat for about 35 to 40 minutes.

  4. Add the flour and let it cook for another 15 minutes or until it’s thickened up a bit more.
  5. Top with some diced jalapenos, sour cream, shredded cheese, or crushed crackers, and enjoy!
