How To Make Easy Chicken Korma

Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Basmati rice or naan bread for serving
Instructions

In a blender, grind the soaked cashew nuts with a little water to make a smooth paste. Set aside.

In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.

Add chicken cubes to the pan and cook until they turn white.

In a bowl, whisk yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add this mixture to the pan and stir well.

Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add tomato puree and cook for another 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.

Add the cashew nut paste and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with basmati rice or naan bread.
