How To Make Indian Tofu Korma Recipe

A creamy and flavorful Indian dish made with tofu, spices, and a rich sauce.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 tsp of ground coriander
  • 1 tsp of ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika
  • 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp of chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until the onion is soft and translucent.

  2. Add the tofu and cook until the tofu is slightly browned.

  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, coconut milk, coriander, cumin, turmeric, paprika, garam masala, and salt. Stir well.

  4. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.

  5. Serve hot over rice and garnish with cilantro.
