How To Make Burmese Tofu Fritters (Tohu Jaw)

Ingredients
- 2 cups of homemade Burmese tofu, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup of chickpea flour
- 1/4 cup of rice flour
- 1 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- 1 tsp of salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together chickpea flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt.

Add a little water at a time to the flour mixture, stirring well to make a thick batter.

Dip each tofu cube into the batter, coating it well.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the coated tofu cubes until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.

Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with chili sauce or a dipping sauce of your choice.
