How To Make Instant Pot Chicken Korma Recipe
A flavorful Indian dish made with tender chicken cooked in a rich and creamy sauce of coconut milk, spices, and yogurt.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Set Instant Pot to Saute mode and add oil.

Once hot, add onions and saute until they turn golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.

Add all the spice powders and saute for a minute.

Add chicken and salt, and saute for a few minutes until the chicken is sealed.

Add coconut milk and yogurt, and mix well.

Cancel Saute mode, close the lid and set the Instant Pot to Manual/Pressure Cook mode. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.

Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes and then do a quick release.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
