Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until golden brown.

  2. Add the garlic and ginger to the pan and cook for another minute.

  3. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.

  4. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala to the pan. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly.

  5. Pour in the tomato puree and season with salt. Simmer for 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together.

  6. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
