How To Make Chicken Souvlaki with Tzatziki Sauce
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs of chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita bread
- Tzatziki sauce, for serving
- Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, chopped lettuce
Instructions

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Add chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Thread chicken cubes onto skewers and grill for about 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through.

Heat the pita bread on the grill for a few seconds on each side.

Serve the grilled chicken souvlaki on warm pita bread, topped with tzatziki sauce and optional toppings.
