Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads, for serving
  • Tzatziki sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the lamb cubes and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  3. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers.

  4. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach desired doneness.

  5. Remove the skewers from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.

  6. Serve the lamb souvlaki skewers with warm pita breads and tzatziki sauce.
