Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh dill, salt, and pepper.

  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers and grill for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  5. Serve the souvlaki hot with your choice of sides, such as pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and Greek salad.
