Asparagus with Brie Recipe

How To Make Asparagus with Brie

Enjoy this baked asparagus with brie for a delicious dish! Steamed asparagus is covered with brie cheese and sprinkled with bread crumbs for cheesy greens.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1bunchfresh asparagus,trimmed
  • 2⅕lbsbrie cheese,(½ wheel) sliced
  • ¼cupbutter,melted
  • ½cupdry bread crumbs
  • ¼cupsesame seeds,toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Place asparagus in a steamer over 1-inch of boiling water, and cover. Cook for about 2 to 6 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and place in a shallow baking dish.

  3. Lay cheese slices over asparagus. In a small bowl combine melted butter, bread crumbs and sesame seeds. Sprinkle over cheese.

  4. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes.

  5. Increase oven to broil. Broil just until breadcrumbs are golden brown.

  6. Serve and enjoy.
