Ingredients

  • 8 oz brie cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Cranberry sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the brie cheese into bite-sized cubes or wedges.

  2. Place the bread crumbs in a shallow dish.

  3. Dip each cube of brie into the beaten eggs, then coat with bread crumbs, pressing firmly to adhere.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. Carefully drop the breaded brie cubes into the hot oil, one or two at a time, and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  6. Remove the fried brie cubes from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  7. Serve immediately with cranberry sauce for dipping.
