How To Make Anise and Blueberry Muffins
Deliciously fluffy and sweet muffins with a hint of anise flavor and bursts of fresh blueberries.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp anise extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, egg, and anise extract.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Fold in fresh blueberries.

Grease a muffin tin and divide batter evenly among 12 cups.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, until muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow muffins to cool in tin for 5 minutes before removing and serving.
