Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp anise seeds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, anise seeds, and sesame seeds.

  3. Add olive oil and mix until crumbly.

  4. Gradually pour in water and knead until dough forms.

  5. Divide the dough into 4 portions.

  6. Roll out each portion thinly and cut into desired shapes.

  7. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Remove from oven, cool, and serve.
