Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of ready-made puff pastry
  • 4 ripe plums, pitted and sliced
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cloves
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of Marsala wine

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and press it into a tart pan.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the sliced plums, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Spread this mixture evenly over the puff pastry.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, egg yolks, sugar, and Marsala wine until well combined.

  5. Pour the custard mixture over the plum filling in the tart pan.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the custard is set and the pastry is golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the tart cool before serving.
