How To Make Purple Sprouting Broccoli with Pasta & Sausage

Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta
- 8 oz purple sprouting broccoli
- 8 oz sausage, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage slices and cook until browned on both sides. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the purple sprouting broccoli to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
