How To Make Mustard Champ

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain well.

  2. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter and milk together over low heat.

  3. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or fork until smooth.

  4. Gradually add the melted butter and milk mixture to the mashed potatoes, stirring well.

  5. Stir in the wholegrain mustard and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve the Mustard Champ hot as a side dish.
