Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (any white fish like Rohu or Bhetki)
  • 4 tbsp mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Grind mustard seeds, green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and yogurt to make a smooth paste.

  2. Marinate the fish fillets with this mustard paste and keep aside for 10 minutes.

  3. Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish on medium heat until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
