How To Make Lentil Fritters

Ingredients
- 1 cup lentils, soaked and drained
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions

In a blender, grind the soaked lentils to a coarse paste.

In a bowl, mix together the lentil paste, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped green chili, fresh coriander, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan.

Take small portions of the lentil mixture, shape them into small fritters, and carefully drop them into the hot oil.

Fry the fritters until golden brown and crispy on all sides.

Remove the fritters from the oil and drain them on paper towels.

Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
