How To Make Green Beans with Lemon & Parmesan

Ingredients
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3 minutes, until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the cooked green beans to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

Remove from heat and stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot and garnish with additional lemon zest and parmesan cheese if desired.
