Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, and chives)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.

  3. In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter over low heat until the butter is melted.

  4. Pour the milk mixture over the potatoes and mash until smooth and creamy.

  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve the creamy herb and Parmesan mash hot.
