Ingredients

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, sage, and cheddar cheese.

  2. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Gradually add the beaten eggs, mixing well until the mixture holds together.

  4. Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.

  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  6. Fry the stuffing balls until golden brown on all sides.

  7. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes, until crispy and cooked through.

  8. Serve hot as a side dish or as a tasty addition to any meal.
