How To Make Sausage, sage & onion stuffing

Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

Ingredients

  • 6 sausages, casings removed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 4 cups of bread cubes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion, minced garlic, and chopped sage. Cook until the onion is translucent.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausages, onion mixture, bread cubes, and chicken broth. Mix well.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Transfer the stuffing mixture into a greased baking dish.

  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
