How To Make Sage and Onion Stuffing Recipe

This classic stuffing recipe is seasoned with aromatic sage and onion and is the perfect accompaniment to a roast turkey.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of bread cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. of fresh sage, chopped
  • 4 tbsp. of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  3. Add onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.

  4. Stir in sage and cook for another minute.

  5. In a large bowl, mix bread cubes with onion mixture and chicken broth.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes.
