Ingredients

  • 2 cups walnuts
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, water, rosemary, and salt. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.

  3. Add walnuts to the saucepan and stir until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  4. Spread the coated walnuts onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until walnuts are golden brown and crispy.

  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving.
