How To Make Asparagus & Lemon Spaghetti with Peas

Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pot of salted boiling water, blanch the asparagus and peas for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the cooked spaghetti, blanched asparagus and peas, lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Toss well to combine.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
