How To Make Apple & Walnut Marmalade

- 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine the diced apples, walnuts, sugar, water, lemon juice, and cinnamon.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Use a potato masher to lightly mash the apples, leaving some small chunks for texture.

Continue to simmer for another 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and let cool.

Serve warm or transfer to sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
