How To Make Marmalade, Ginger & Star Anise Baked Ham

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg boneless ham
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Score the ham in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut too deep.

  3. In a small saucepan, heat the marmalade, grated ginger, star anise, and Dijon mustard over medium heat until well combined.

  4. Place the ham in a roasting pan and pour the marmalade mixture over it.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.

  7. Remove the foil, baste the ham with the pan juices, and bake for an additional hour or until the ham is golden brown and cooked through.

  8. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  9. Serve the Marmalade, Ginger & Star Anise Baked Ham with the pan juices as a glaze.
