Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

Add the almond milk, vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined and smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, frost with your favorite vegan frosting or dust with powdered sugar before serving.
