Tender and flavorful chicken cooked in a garlicky sauce, all in one pot for easy cleanup.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 40 minutes
Total: 50 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion. Cook until fragrant and onions are translucent.

  2. Season chicken breasts with thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken to the pot and cook until browned on each side.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together flour and chicken broth until smooth. Pour mixture into the pot, stirring to combine with the chicken and onions.

  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cover the pot. Cook for about 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
