How To Make Low Carb Beef and Broccoli Recipe
A delicious, healthy take on the classic Chinese takeout dish that is low in carbs and high in protein.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.

In a wok or large skillet, heat olive oil over high heat. Add sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add more olive oil if needed and sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.

Add broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes, or until tender.

Return the beef to the wok and mix with the broccoli.

Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until heated through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve over cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles.
