How To Make Spicy Cajun Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp of paprika
  • 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and heat until shimmering.

  3. Add shrimp and seasoning mixture to the skillet and toss to coat shrimp evenly.

  4. Cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes or until pink and cooked through.

  5. Remove shrimp from heat and add butter to the skillet, stirring until melted and coated on the shrimp.

  6. Serve with a garnish of fresh parsley, if desired.
