How To Make Flash-fried Courgettes

Thinly sliced courgettes fried to crispy perfection in a flash.

Ingredients

  • 2 courgettes, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Dip each courgette slice into the flour mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.

  4. Fry the courgette slices in batches for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Repeat with the remaining courgette slices.

  7. Serve hot as an appetizer or side dish.
