How To Make Easy Chicken Kiev

Delicious and flavorful chicken stuffed with garlic butter and coated in crispy breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  3. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.

  4. Stuff each pocket with 2 tablespoons of the garlic butter mixture.

  5. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.

  6. Dip each chicken breast into beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

  7. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.

  8. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

  9. Serve hot, garnished with additional fresh parsley if desired.
