  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  2. Add the onion to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened.

  3. Add the garlic and sauté for an additional minute.

  4. Add the green beans, salt, black pepper, thyme, and oregano to the skillet. Stir to combine.

  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the green beans are tender.

  6. Serve immediately, with the bacon sprinkled on top.
