  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Pour the batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
