Ingredients

  • 200g white fish fillets, cooked and mashed
  • 1 small potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 carrot, cooked and mashed
  • 1/4 cup peas, cooked and mashed
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. In a bowl, combine the mashed fish, potato, carrot, peas, cheese, milk, dried dill, and lemon juice. Mix well.

  3. Spoon the mixture into a greased mini muffin tin, filling each cavity about halfway.

  4. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of each fish pie bite.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
