How To Make The Oasis
The freshness of watermelon combined with lemon and lime sherbet makes this drink a must-have on your weekend parties.
Remove rind and seeds from watermelon.
Puree melon with a blender.
Stir in sugar and lemon juice, chill.
To serve, pour about ⅓ cup puree mixture into a tall glass; fill with the lemon-lime beverage.
Top with a scoop of sherbet; garnish with mint leaves and cherries.
This can also be served in a scooped-out watermelon half.
