Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • Bamboo skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, peanut butter, honey, lime juice, curry powder, garlic powder, ginger powder, and chili powder. Mix until well combined.

  2. Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked bamboo skewers.

  3. Brush the marinade mixture onto the chicken skewers, coating them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the skewers for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.

  5. Serve the Satay Shots hot, garnished with optional chopped peanuts and a side of peanut sauce.
