Forget the garlic around your neck, serve this blood cocktail to all the vampires at your Halloween party.

It's Halloween season and might as well prepare some cocktail that fits the aesthetic.

Prep: 5 mins
Total: 5 mins

  • ½ cup cherry schnapps
  • ½ cup vodka
  • 1 cup whiskey, optional
  • cup lemon juice, a concentrated currant syrup
  • 4 cups cherry soda

  1. Pour cherry schnapps, lemon juice, whiskey, and vodka.

  2. Stir well and add ice.

  3. Add the cherry soda and mix thoroughly.

Recipe Notes

  • The color of the cocktail will depend on the color of the cherry soda. If you can find a darker color, it will be closer to the actual color of blood.
  • Sugar rim your glass by squeezing lemon juice in a saucer, dip the glass in the liquid, and sprinkle some sugar.
  • Or, instead of sprinkling, place sugar in a separate saucer and dip the glass in it after dipping in the lemon juice.
