Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 4 anchovy fillets, chopped
  • 1 cup grated gruyere cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a tart pan, trimming off any excess.

  3. In a large skillet, wilt the spinach over medium heat. Remove from heat and let cool.

  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

  5. Spread the cooled spinach evenly over the pie crust.

  6. Sprinkle the chopped anchovies and grated gruyere cheese over the spinach.

  7. Pour the egg mixture over the top, making sure it is evenly distributed.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the tart is set and golden brown.

  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
