How To Make Apple Dumpling Puddle Pudding

Ingredients
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 squares.

Place an apple in the center of each pastry square.

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Sprinkle the sugar mixture over each apple, making sure to coat it evenly.

Fold the corners of the pastry square up and over the apple, pinching the edges together to seal.

Place the dumplings in a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, water, and vanilla extract.

Pour the butter mixture over the dumplings.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.
