  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons hot water

Instructions

  3. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.

  5. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.

  6. Make a small well in the center of each cupcake and place a teaspoon of chocolate chips in each well.
