Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Pinch of salt
  • 8 spring roll wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and salt. Mix until well coated.

  3. Lay out the spring roll wrappers on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each wrapper.

  4. Fold the wrappers diagonally to form a triangle. Seal the edges by brushing them with melted butter and pressing them together.

  5. Place the samosas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
