Ingredients

  • 6 oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp agar-agar powder

Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges and lemon thoroughly. Peel the fruits and remove the pith.

  2. Cut the peels into thin strips and set aside.

  3. Squeeze the juice from the oranges and lemon, making sure to remove any seeds.

  4. In a large pot, combine the orange and lemon juice, water, sugar, and agar-agar powder.

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.

  6. Add the orange and lemon peels to the pot and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 60 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.

  7. Remove from heat and let the marmalade cool for 10 minutes.

  8. Transfer the marmalade to sterilized jars and seal tightly. Allow it to cool completely before refrigerating.
