How To Make Cherry & Almond Tarts

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of pre-made puff pastry
- 1 cup of cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/4 cup of almond flakes
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal squares.

In a bowl, mix the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and almond extract until well combined.

Place a spoonful of the cherry mixture onto the center of each pastry square.

Fold the edges of the pastry over the cherry filling, creating a tart shape.
