- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a blender or food processor, puree the strawberries until smooth.

In a large bowl, whisk together the crème fraîche, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the strawberry puree into the cream mixture and gently fold until fully incorporated.

Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions until creamy and thickened.
