  • 4 large apples

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.

  2. Peel and dice the apples into small pieces.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  4. Pour the melted butter over the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.

  5. Place a spoonful of the oat mixture into each muffin cup and press down to form a crust.

  6. Divide the diced apples evenly among the muffin cups, filling them to the top.

  7. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the apples, pressing gently.

  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

  9. Allow the crisp cups to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the muffin tin.

  10. Serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
