Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix together the diced apple, blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and flour.

  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 4 equal squares.

  4. Spoon the apple-blueberry mixture onto the center of each square.

  5. Fold the corners of the pastry square in towards the center, creating a danish shape.

  6. Brush the beaten egg wash over the pastries.

  7. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Allow to cool before serving.
