- 4 ripe pears, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp rum
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the pear slices in a baking dish and drizzle with rum. Sprinkle brown sugar over the pears and toss gently to coat.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, shredded coconut, rolled oats, and cubed butter. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to blend the ingredients until crumbly.
